Shabad Bhand Jammee-ai - Hymn för Kvinnor

From woman, man is born; within woman, man is conceived; to woman he is engaged and married.

Woman becomes his friend; through woman, the future generations come.

When his woman dies, he seeks another woman; to woman he is bound.

So why call her bad? From her, kings are born.

From woman, woman is born; without woman, there would be no one at all.

O Nanak, only the True Lord is without a woman.

That mouth which praises the Lord continually is blessed and beautiful.

O Nanak, those faces shall be radiant in the Court of the True Lord.

"I believe woman is the door to God... Her sway and her grace is keeping the Earth in its own place." ~Yogi Bhajan

"If a woman sits with folded hands in her lap for a few minutes every day, and feels she is a container so vast that she contains the whole Universe, she will never feel weak or have any problems. There is nothing beyond woman except God." ~ Yogi Bhajan

"As a woman, you are a mystery.

Everyone loves mysteries, so enjoy being one!

But never be a mystery to yourself!"

Guru Rattana

”Every Woman who frees herself and vibrates as a Woman with joy and passion for life changes the world” ~ Guru Rattana

“Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women.” ~ Maya Angelou

“When a woman speaks her truth, fires up her intention and feeling... she is singing, she is living in the wild breath-stream of the soul.” ~ Clarissa Pinkola Estés

"The purest thing in the world is the heart of the mother, the heart-chakra, the center of the mother. It can move God. It can move the Universe. It can cause an effect beyond limitation. The heart of the mother is the greatest power of Infinity ever given to any finite being." ~ Yogi Bhajan

“If you have yet to be called an incorrigable, defiant woman, don’t worry, there is still time.”
~ Clarissa Pinkola Estés

Imagine A Woman, a poem by Patricia Lynn Reilly

Imagine a woman who believes it is right and good she is a woman
A woman who honors her experience and tells her stories
Who refuses to carry the sins of others within her body and life

Imagine a woman who trusts and respects herself
A woman who listens to her needs and desires
Who meets them with tenderness and grace

Imagine a woman who acknowledges the past's influence on the present
A woman who has walked through her past
Who has healed into the present

Imagine a woman who authors her own life
A woman who exerts, initiates, and moves on her own behalf
Who refuses to surrender except to her truest self and wisest voice

Imagine a woman who names her own gods
A woman who imagines the divine in her image and likeness
Who designs a personal spirituality to inform her daily life

Imagine a woman in love with her own body
A woman who believes her body is enough, just as it is
Who celebrates its rhythms and cycles as an exquisite resource

Imagine a woman who honors the body of the Goddess in her changing body
A woman who celebrates the accumulation of her years and her wisdom
Who refuses to use her life-energy disguising the changes in her body and life

Imagine a woman who values the women in her life
A woman who sits in circles of women
Who is reminded of the truth about herself when she forgets

Imagine yourself as this woman...
